Internship for the Bachelor’s degree Study Programme

Students of the Bachelor’s degree Study Programme in Materials and Nanotechnology Engineering have the opportunity to carry out an optional curricular internship, not included in the study plan, at the end of which a certificate of attendance is issued.

The internship is a training experience in the field, directly linked to the topics of the study path and career goals. It allows you to spend a few months at a company (Italian or foreign), carrying out practical activities under the guidance of a company tutor. During the internship, the student get acquainted with the company environment and problems, following a training project in which it is necessary to apply the methodologies of analysis and problem solving learned during the Study Programme to a concrete case of interest linked to the company’s activities .

Internship for the Master’s degree Study Programme

Students of the Master’s degree Study Programme in Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology have the opportunity to carry out an optional internship in a company, not included in the study plan, at the end of which a certificate of attendance is issued. It is also possible to carry out an optional internship aimed at carrying out the Master’s degree thesis.

Activation of the Internship

The Academic Traineeship Department (so-called SAT) of the Study Programme is responsible for the activation and possible recognition of compulsory or optional curricular internships.
