Bachelor’s degree

Bachelor’s degree graduates in Materials and Nanotechnology Engineering finds industrial employment in the production, transformation and recycling of materials in the chemical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, telecommunications, energy, construction, transport, biomedical, environmental and cultural heritage sectors. In particular, the materials and nanotechnology engineer will find employment: in the surface treatment industry, where the demand for technicians capable of developing integrated projects becomes more and more pressing; in the polymeric and metallic materials industry, where there is high demand of technicians experienced in the development and production of raw materials, in the production of processing machines as well as in the design and production of polymeric or metallic products.

Master’s degree

The materials and nanotechnology engineer with a Master’s degree acquires the ability to propose and manage innovation in the materials sector; he/she will find employment mainly in companies of generally medium-to-large size specialized in producing, transforming and recycling materials, as well as in the application development sector in the mechanical, chemical, electronic, energy, telecommunications, construction industries, transport, biomedical, environmental and restoration, in industrial laboratories and research and development centers of companies and public and private entities.
